Aimed at governors who have a Health and Safety lead as part of their role.

Additional information Places are limited to two governors per school, in order to keep to manageable numbers.

Displayed fees are subject to VAT

The session will be delivered via Teams. The link will be sent out at least 24 hours prior to the session.

CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS

Cancellations received within 24 hours of the session starting will be subject to a cancellation fee of £25.
Those booked on and confirmed who do not attend the session will also be subject to a fee of £25 
Learning outcomes At the end of the session delegates will be able to:
  • understand the statutory requirements and legislation relating to health and safety
  • understand the roles and responsibilities for the school and governing body
  • appreciate the types of risks and hazards that schools confront
  • understand the role of the health & safety governor
  • understand how health and safety should be managed and monitored
